JANUARY 2005 PATENT OF THE MONTH: FABULOUS FEATHERS

Watch the birdie!

Is the blue bird of happiness just a little too happy for your liking? Do avian projectile missiles project in your direction just a little too often? This the IPKat’s January 2005 Patent of the Month (sourced from delpion.com) is for you! The “bird diaper”, which, according to the abstract, is a “bird diaper for an uncaged pet bird to wear, featuring an enclosed pouch for receiving and containing excrement, and apertures to accommodate both the wings and the tail of the bird” should solve all your pigeon poop problems. And the good news for the bird about town is that the diaper can incorporate bright colours and decorative designs.

This, thinks the IPKat, is no bird-brained idea.
