IP law in Cambridge this summer

Cambridge in summertime
Cambridge + IP + summer = the perfect combination! As IPKat readers may know, every year this picturesque town hosts a summer school devoted to all things IP.

This year’s residential conference will take place between 12 and 16 August, and will allow delegates to cover all the main IP rights. Over 30 leading lawyers, practitioners and academics will discuss various issues, ranging from the requirements for IP protection to enforcement strategies in increasingly complex scenarios.

In addition, different networking activities are planned each day.

Our friends at KNect365 also wish to let IPKat readers know that it is possible to register and enjoy an IPKat 15% discount in the registration fee by using the IPKat VIP code FKW82944IPKE2. For further information and to register, just click here.

  1. I've heard good things about this. Pedant alert (etc) but Cambridge is a city :)

All comments must be moderated by a member of the IPKat team before they appear on the blog. Comments will not be allowed if the contravene the IPKat policy that readers' comments should not be obscene or defamatory; they should not consist of ad hominem attacks on members of the blog team or other comment-posters and they should make a constructive contribution to the discussion of the post on which they purport to comment.

It is also the IPKat policy that comments should not be made completely anonymously, and users should use a consistent name or pseudonym (which should not itself be defamatory or obscene, or that of another real person), either in the "identity" field, or at the beginning of the comment. Current practice is to, however, allow a limited number of comments that contravene this policy, provided that the comment has a high degree of relevance and the comment chain does not become too difficult to follow.
