Katcall: Openings for InternKats!

Are you passionate about IP? Then we have exciting news for you!

The IPKat is looking for IP enthusiasts to fill InternKat positions.

InternKat positions will last 6 months and there are no geographical restrictions. Please bear in mind that you need to have your employer’s permission to be part of The IPKat team.

Typically, InternKats are graduate students, trainees, recently qualified people or IP enthusiasts in career transitions.

InternKats are responsible for round-up posts (example), Never Too Late posts (example), Around the IP blogs posts (example), updating the events calendar (here), and providing monthly reports regarding statistics and analytics of The IPKat blog. In addition, InternKats are invited to write independent posts on average once a month.

We are looking for keen IP enthusiasts to fill InternKat positions. They will receive mentoring and guidance from a member of the permanent IPKat team. They will also receive training for the tasks that the role involves. Previous applicants are encouraged to re-apply.

The deadline for applications is Tuesday, 28 January 2020 (midnight, GMT). The successful candidates will start as soon as possible after a decision has been made.

All comments must be moderated by a member of the IPKat team before they appear on the blog. Comments will not be allowed if the contravene the IPKat policy that readers' comments should not be obscene or defamatory; they should not consist of ad hominem attacks on members of the blog team or other comment-posters and they should make a constructive contribution to the discussion of the post on which they purport to comment.
