The advantage is that there is no need to download an RSS feed reader, and the lists come up each time you start Firefox (or IE, if you're old fashioned). My <A HREF="http://ukpatents.wikispaces.com" REL="nofollow">wikispace</A> also has RSS abilities, which I find useful.
