If they are only worried about bypasing TRIPS and its adverse affect on "stability and equilibrium", they should explore how using TRIPS would solve the problem. Would they prefer the U.S. bring actions against the same countries under the TRIPS dispute apparatus? What would that barrage of cases do to the stability and equilibrium of TRIPS, and would it solve the problem that 301 addresses? As presented, the arguments appear to have as their base, either an anti-IP view that doesn't see a problem, or an anti-US view that can't pass up a chance to knock the U.S., or both.Hugh Hansennoreply@blogger.com
