"The issue at stake here is the protection of the Olympic symbols. There is nothing unusual about this type of action".The IPKat wonders if it isn't about time the Olympic symbol was taken away from the International Olympic Committee and given back to ordinary people. That way its tacky overcommercialisation might be reduced and people could again use the word in its descriptive or generic sense without worrying about being sued all the time.
