The IPKat has learned and wishes to inform interested readers about the upcoming IQPC Global IP Exchange Europe, taking place on 16-17 March 2026 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Amsterdam, Netherlands. The Exchange is especially, though not exclusively, for those working in-house.

An invitation-only event, the Global IP Exchange Europe Exchange will provide access to 70 top leaders within patent, trade mark and brand protection. It is designed to help push beyond the boundaries of established processes, through individual presentations, panel discussions, and one-to-one talks.

This year’s agenda includes discussions around navigating new regulations and global legal developments, crafting strategies to tackle bad actors and counterfeiting, leveraging new tools to enhance productivity and manage measured risks, and building resilient teams to lead through fast-moving times.

This year’s speakers include:
  • Jörg Thomaier, Former Head of IP, Bayer
  • Shelley Duggan, SVP & General Counsel – Global IP Protection & Anti-illicit Trade, Procter & Gamble
  • Tim Alexander Oelmann, Head of Business IPR Management, Deutsche Telekom
  • Olivia Mazzucotelli, Head of Brand & Industry Relations, TikTok Shop
  • Le Chen, Senior Legal Director, Head of IP Policy (Europe), Xiaomi Technology

  • Sean Alexander, Head of IP, Umicore
  • Donato Pasquariello, Director IP, Ericsson
  • Nishat Ruiter, General Counsel, TED Conferences
…and many more from leading brands like IBM, Siemens Healthineers, Playtika, and BASF.

To receive an invite, attendees must have an active project within their function, and must answer ‘yes’ to two of the following criteria:
  • I control where the IP, Patent, Trademark, Brand Protection or Anti-Counterfeiting budget is spent
  • I am the Head of IP, or Head of Patent, Trademark, Brand Protection or Anti-Counterfeiting
