His father was a heavy-hitter in previous Conservative Govt. Let's hope he is too. There are other politicians' offspring doing well in the HL, eg Lord Attlee.
Mark, you say Viscount Younger's father was a heavy-hitter and the blog says he's a hereditary peer. Are minor British ministers the result of some sort of selective breeding programme?
The Viscount even has a Polish Wikipedia entry. Very promising!
There's a special intellectual property right - a bit like plant breeders' rights - called Primogeniture Right. Holders of the right have something called "father's privilege". Unfortunately, genetic mutation often causes degradation of the seed stock, making investment in the right a highly risky business. Not suitable for unsophisticated investors.
Posh Spice might be better qualified.
