"Do any UK firms who employ US IP attorneys file US trade marks, or provide copyright or other registration services in the USA for UK or other clients? If so, what attitude do the firm’s insurers take, and are there any extra risks of exposure to litigation that might not be covered by the PI policy? Any ideas or thoughts would be much appreciated."If you know the answer to this question or have any bright ideas regarding this subject, can you please email the IPKat here or post them below?
Right: it was a simple filing programme, the only risk being that of getting caught during office hours ...
Off topic: The engagement ring the lady on the photo on the right is wearing is at least 1.2 carat, if not more!
ReplyDeleteHow do you know it's a lady, for goodness' sake?
ReplyDeleteclues include: engagement ring (guys don't usually wear one); manicured nails (guys don't usually manicure their nails); lack of chest hair (although waxing isn't out of the question I guess);and fine hands (mine are like shovels - although I accept that they may not be the best comparison to use).
ReplyDeleteAll in all, good circumstantial evidence I would say! I'd even bet that "jealous in london" is female too!
So all the evidence is circumstantial ...
ReplyDeleteBut the chest hairs might begin beneath the vest line -- and the person in question isn't exactly big in the bust department.

1.2 carat it may be, but what about the colour and clarity....size isn't everything you know.
