Looking to catch up with the latest fashion (law) trends? Here's a course with an IPKat readers discount

Actual catwalk
Readers might remember that a few months ago this blog reported on a 1-day fashion law course, organised and run by former GuestKat Rosie Burbidge (a partner at gunnercooke and author of European Fashion Law), Giulia Gasparin (River Island) and myself.

We had a great time, and now we are organising a new event, which will be held in central London on Friday, 18 October 2019.

The idea is allowing participants to receive and discuss updates, latest trends and developments in this area of the law, as well as engaging with experts in luxury and fashion law and industry disruptors.

Here's the provisional programme for the day:

Fashion Law London - The Autumn/Winter Review

8.30 - 9.00 am: Coffee, tea and welcome

9.00 - 9.20 am: How to start a fashion brand with Joanna Dai (Founder of Dai)

9.20 - 10.20 am: Fashion law in practice - recent case studies re copyright, passing off and unfair competition including an update on the Digital Single Market Directive (Directive 2019/790) with Eleonora Rosati

10.20 - 10.40 am: Coffee break
