GamesIndustry.Biz reports that Texas law firm McKool Smith is bringing a patent infringement action against a number of well-known software companies . It claims that the technology used for 3D computer games infringes its earlier patent. Industry sources claim that if the action is successful it could put a spanner in the works of all 3D gaming and perhaps other computer-related 3D imagery.
