The UK Patent Office has suspended its Media Centre service until after the UK General Election on 5 May 2005. The IPKat wants to know why. Are all the Patent Office PR people needed on the front line of the election or is IP so controversial that the Patent Office can’t say anything without prejudicing the election results?

From Monday 11th April the Patent Office, which is part of the Civil Service, has no Minister and therefore does not have anyone to answer to.
